Acts 20:23-24

I only know that in every city the Holy Spirit warns me that prison and hardships are facing me. But none of these things move me . I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.

In Acts, Paul was not welcomed with open arms.

Christians in Jerusalem treated him with great suspicion.

But they weren’t on the road in Damascus with him when Jesus asked, "Saul, why do you persecute me?"

My ministry is now your mission.

When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.

Convicted by the Holy Spirit

“For I have not hesitated to proclaim to You the whole will of God," Paul says.

"Regardless of the pain and affliction," he was warned awaits.

For one thing, we often must struggle within ourselves to arrive at is what we believe is God’s will.

Do not be overwhelmed by your emotional attachment and colored thinking,

that you forge ahead and then wonder why you feel like you’re on a treadmill.

I was tested to let the residue go and make peace to grow.

From Saul to Paul, “this is a mission, not a show.”

God cannot take you to the places you He has planned, unless YOU believe so.

Paul exclaims to the crowd,

“My only aim is to complete the task the Lord has given me the task of testifying to the good news of God's grace.”

So if you’re worried about those right now who don’t understand the new version of you yet -

transformation comes in steps and stages - This is a marathon not a race.
