2 Corinthians 5:7

"For we walk by faith, not by sight."

When God first told me, “Get into the word.”

“I asked okay God if this is You, where should I start my search?”

I was called to the “Book of Acts," and after one short phone call,

I realized this was no coincidence, “This is considered the birth of the Church...”

This week I realize what has been unsettling...

No longer distracted by circumstance.

It is not my eyesight, but my insight

That You’re developing.

God does His best work in the dark.

Walking by faith is the cost of admission.

And even when I don’t understand,

Help me to trust and listen to my intuition.

In Acts, Paul shows us that it was not alone being stoned

But from misunderstanding and shame that came more pain

If you live only by what you think other people need to see

Your strength shall be spent in vain.

God works on those most called to aloneness.

Submit to the isolation of being chosen.

What kind of bush could burn, but not be harmed?

There is a certain depth of consecration - "I AM WHO I AM,”

God said to Moses.

2 Corinthians 5:7

The just shall walk by faith, not by sight.

So I rest and shut my eyes to see...

Oh God - You put the light in me.
