James 1:22-27

Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says

is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and,

after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like.

But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom,

and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—

they will be blessed in what they do.

Where I Hide Episode 7: When it's Out of My Hands

God, you are calling me deeper.

Into this space...

Where walking and the unknown

can seem like an overwhelming place.

I get paralyzed by purpose -

with all that you are calling me to.

I still have so many questions unanswered.

Lord, this next season, I need you to carry me through.

When I stand in the world and don’t know yet who I am

It is not because I am forgotten,

but because God, you know the larger pieces to the plan.

When God has given you a PLACE; Look around at your position.

If you are looking around not knowing what direction.

Look back at the mirror and find your reflection.

You were made in God’s image -

Do not just merely listen to the word and not do what is says

What good is it, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds?

For God is not mocked, whatever one sows,

He will reap - do not be Deceived.

When there is no direction, no sound, no light this isn’t easy to remember.

I am the first to admit

But as I am walking, I remember God.

You already blessed it.
